While Robin Williams' death originally hit me hard, his wife's disclosure that he was suffering from Parkinson's Disease, made me at least feel he chose to go on his own terms, before that disease robbed him of everything.<br /><br />That post by Jenny Lawson--The Bloggess--was so, so wonderful! It provided yet another side to Carrie that many of us didn't know. And I totally related to her saying she'd hoped to one day tell Carrie how much she meant to her. I was once just a few feet away from Carrie on a sidewalk and chose not to approach her, because she seemed tired and rushed and I didn't want to bother her. Maybe it was her unearthly beauty, maybe it was the boys she left behind, maybe it was that she was hounded to her death by a pack of jackals.<br /><br />Stevie Ray Vaughan: hit me where I lived. Was the main reason I adopted The Blues as a passion.<br /><br />Robin Williams: an early comic inspiration. Was hard to believe that we now have to live in a world without him in it.<br /><br />I'm sorry for your celebrity loss.
